The Clinic:

Our practice owners are both still part of the clinical team; they are 'boots on the ground' managers who are always there for their team. Currently, we have 6Surgeons who are supported by awealth of RVNs and FoH staff so that we create an efficient, clinically excellent experience for both staff, clients and (most importantly), patients! We are a very close-knit team with staff retention being very successful. A no-nonsense approach to conflict means we have an excellent culture of support.

As well as all the usual bells and whistles you'd want in a modern, small animal practice like large theatres, consult rooms and staff space, we have all sorts of additional bits for you to use.We also have orthopaedic equipment and have an in house behaviourist.Our diagnostic equipment is extraordinary with echocardiography capabilities; we perform a variety of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries and have large, spacious ward space.

The Role:

The new Veterinary Surgeon will be at the forefront of tackling our growing clinical case load. You will manage consults, surgery, diagnosticsand, if confident, help oversee EMS placements and new graduates.

The Candidate:

To apply, you will need to be a RCVS accredited veterinary surgeon; candidates who hold a certificate or are working towards one will stand out but is not a requirement. We are happy to meet with recent graduates as well.

The most important thing for us is personality: we have established a warm culture of support and would like to add people with similar values.

Remuneration:

For the right candidate, we are looking to offer around 70,000 per annum. You also get additional benefits including:
