Flourish Education are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary school located in Leamington Spa. The school aims to develop children who are supported in a exciting learning community.
The school is looking for a long term dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide support to students in KS1 and KS2. The children have a range of complex needs. The role will include providing one-to-one support and working in small groups.
Our client is looking for someone to join their team after the October half term on a full-time basis and ongoing for the right person.
Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant role:
- Teaching Assistant Level 3 Qualification
- Ability to liaise with the class teacher, SENDCO, and other agencies to meet the needs of the pupils.
- Build effective relationships with pupils and staff.
- Experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH.
- Experience within UK primary schools.
- Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children.
- Deliver interventions
