IT Security Assurance Lead/Consultant

Rate: To circa 650.00 Per Day - Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Location: Remote working with travel if required to Warwickshire
Our leading financial servics client in the West Midlands are seeking a highly accomplished, UK based IT Security Assurance Lead / Technical SME / Consultant with strong people skills, to assist with their Datacentre Exit program of work.

- Deliverable 1: Cloud Migration Support
- Deliverable 2: Identity & Access Management
- Deliverable 3: Privileged Account Management
- Deliverable 4: Security Assurance & Governance
- Deliverable 5: Stakeholder Engagement
- Deliverable 6: Technical Excellence (Power BI, SQL, IAM/PAM, Cloud Security)
Experience:
- Hands-on experience with system and software migrations, preferably to Azure Cloud environments
- Track record of working with third party suppliers to improve security posture
- Proven experience working with IAM and PAM solutions
- Strong experience with CyberArk
- Strong background in Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, CyberArk, and related authentication mechanisms
- Familiarity with Power BI reporting, ServiceNow development and SQL/Oracle database access management
- Track record of providing security assurance and governance in previous IT roles
- Advanced knowledge of identity and authentication processes, such as single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and federated identity systems
- Expertise in RBAC, least privilege, entitlement management, and Zero Trust frameworks
- Understanding of Azure Cloud services and associated security features
Soft Skills:
- Self-motivated, driven, and autonomous, requiring minimal support to achieve outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence to challenge stakeholders and enforce best practices
