My client is a leading interior design and fit-out company. They work with clients from initial consultation right through to delivery to shape projects that meet the needs of organisations and their people. They work on projects in a variety of sectors including commercial, industrial, education and healthcare.

 

The Company currently focus on small - medium CAT A and CAT B refurbs/fitouts across the Midlands region

 

Responsibilities

  • This role requires creativity and imagination with a willingness and passion to develop knowledge and experience.
  • You will help the senior designers with taking briefs from clients, developing initial concept ideas and designs and carrying the scheme through to Stage 3 /4.
  • Co-ordination with the commercial team is imperative to ensure that the schemes they’re presenting meet the brief including considering the constraints of the building, budget, and timescales.
  • You’ll assist the designers with other duties such as: space planning and concept design, preparation of presentation material, product research and specifications, liaising with contractors/suppliers and assisting the project management team to ensure successful completion of the interior design/fit out projects.

 

Requirements

  • 1 year in a similar design role
  • Passionate for design & construction
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Training in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills - Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel
  • Desirable experience: SketchUp, Photoshop
  • Driver’s license
