- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of small plant equipment, including mowers, air filters, and other machinery.
- Undertake mechanical fitting tasks to ensure all equipment is operational—fabrication experience would be an advantage.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Operate heavy plant equipment as required (a license is preferred but not essential).
- Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and organising inventory.
- Maintain accurate servicing records and purchase orders using the company’s IT systems.
- Ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet operational demands.
- Coordinate transport and deliveries, including occasional delivery of equipment to required locations.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Proven experience in maintaining and servicing small plant equipment.
- IT Proficiency: Confident in using systems to update servicing records, manage stock, and raise purchase orders.
- Organisation Skills: Capable of efficiently managing stock and coordinating logistics.
- Work Ethic: A self-starter who is comfortable working independently.
- Physical Fitness: Able to handle manual tasks and heavy lifting.
- Fabrication and machine fitting experience.
- Forklift truck license (all-terrain or counterbalance).
- Plant operating license.
- Previous experience in stock management or logistics roles.
