The role:

Conduct detailed risk assessments on critical systems, supporting the annual risk report.

Responsibilities:

Perform risk assessments on critical systems.

Engage with system owners to understand impacts and draw up a set of risks.

Prioritise and analyse data to assess risks.

Assist in developing metrics and reporting of risk to senior management and provide input into relevant business communications / awareness activities.

Maintain and develop knowledge of the sector, legislative changes and threats to the controls framework or processes.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure that security risks are appropriately identified, articulated, assessed, and evaluated.

Support the selection of controls used to mitigate risks and feed into risk treatment plans.

Requirements:

Experience in carrying out risk assessments, particularly cyber security risk assessments.

Understanding of cyber risk management.

Experience in the energy sector or related fields (nuclear, aerospace, defense).

Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.

Experience with CNI systems and operation technology systems is a plus.
