Reed Legal are supporting a long established and very well regarded Warwickshire law firm to recruit a residential property solicitor or licensed conveyancer.Based in an affluent area the firm have a broad client base including high net worth individuals.

This role is based in a team that already has an engaged and repeat client base and will offer the successful candidate a route to partner over time. Both existing partner have reached this position having joined as a new qualified solicitor.The successful candidate will work closely with 2 conveyancers in the teamTypical transaction values range up to several £ million.Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and taking ownership of a high-volume caseload
  • Handling sales, purchases, and financing of freehold and leasehold residential properties, re-mortgages and transfer of equity transactions.
  • Acting for borrowers and lenders drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and responding to lender enquiries.
  • Preparing reports, SDLT forms, registrations, and completion statements.
  • Managing file administration and ensuring compliance with AML requirements.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced workload with a professional and courteous approach to clients and stakeholders.Essential skills and experience:

  • Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with residential property experience
  • Expertise in sales, purchases, and mortgage transactions involving houses, flats, and off-plan new builds.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build client relationships.
  • Excellent organisation and time management, with attention to detail under pressure.
  • A team player with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
