Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling complex, high precision mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Using precision measurement tools from first principles
- Reading and interpreting engineering design and assembly drawings
- Collaborating effectively within a team to achieve team objectives
- Communicating with customers while maintaining sensitivity to commercial factors
- Potential travel to other locations (including overseas) for short-medium periods
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the assembly of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Proficiency in precision measurement using manual measurement equipment
- Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings
- Good communication skills and ability to solve problems effectively
- Intermediate level of PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
- Minimum GCSE in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above)
- Traditional apprenticeship served; further vocational qualifications are an advantage
