Permanent Practice Nurse

Hours: 4-10 sessions per week

Salary: Dependent on experience

Following agreed clinical protocols perform duties including:-

Asthma reviews

COPD reviews

Diabetes reviews

Multi-morbidity reviews

Coil check, removal, insertion and replacement

Ring pessary insertion

Cervical cytology

Wound care including dressings and removal of sutures, staples and clips

Contraception (pill and injection)

Menopause and HRT monitoring

Swabs

Routine and childhood immunisations

Travel advice and vaccination

Urinalysis

INR monitoring

Injections including B12, Zoladex, Prostat and Depo

Assisting GPs with minor surgery

Blood Pressure Measurement
