Join a well-established sub-contractor based in Warwick, working directly with main contractors and local businesses. As an Office Manager, you will oversee daily operations and procedures, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This role is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of a friendly SME business with a team of 35Â employees and subcontractors.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage all office contracts including equipment, utilities, cleaners, and mobiles.
- Implement and maintain procedures and systems for an effective working environment.
- Oversee company and fleet insurances, including renewals and claims.
- Handle completion of new client questionnaires and maintain office supplies and catering.
- Line manage one admin assistant and provide support to another.
- Manage fleet operations including tracking systems and renewals.
- Oversee archiving of project documentation and annual shredding.
- Manage company stationery, printing, IT support, and equipment.
- Coordinate company events.
- Manage the HR function in conjunction with an external HR Consultant.
- Handle recruitment processes from job specification to contract issuance.
- Maintain employee records, manage performance, and oversee disciplinary procedures.
- Keep employee training up-to-date, including safety training and certifications.
- Conduct DBS checks and manage holiday forms using HR software.
- Oversee company health schemes and corporate clothing.
- Administer pension communications; note that payroll is outsourced.
- Update the company website with new project information.
- Manage company memberships and ensure paperwork is up to date.
- Assist with typing correspondence and handle ad hoc duties as required.
- Oversee the customer care function, ensuring smooth operation and support where required.
- Manage defect logging when team members are unavailable.
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role.
- Knowledge of HR functions; HR qualifications are not mandatory but beneficial.
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation independently.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to solve problems proactively.

- Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (negotiable and dependant on experience)
