Your new companyA primary school in Leamington is looking for a Year 2 teacher to work from January for the spring term. This is a 'Good' school and is situated in the heart of its community. This is an inclusive school where everyone is welcome. The pupils within the school are always working hard and happy. The staff and volunteers at this school create an environment that is safe for all. Your new roleYour new job as a year 2 teacher at this school is to work on a full-time basis for the spring term. You will be required to take on full class responsibility including planning, preparation, marking and any assessments that may be required. As well as participating in staff meetings and any parents' evenings. This role does have the potential to extend until July and would be suitable for ECT's and more experienced teachers. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this new job, you ideally need to have experience within a key stage 1 class or at least have a real passion to work with children at this age. You must consider yourself able to create exciting and engaging lessons where children from January will continue to learn, grow and develop. You must have a range of behaviour management strategies and also be able to work well with a TA and deploy them to support children and take on interventions where required.
