We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team in Warwickshire. This exciting Band 7/8a role is ideal for a pharmacist with oncology experience who is ready to make an impact in a dynamic clinical setting.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Band 7/8a Oncology Pharmacist
- Location: Warwickshire (specific location available on request)
- Contract Type: 3 to 6-month contract (with the possibility of extension)
- Working Hours: 5 days per week
- Start Date: January (exact date to be confirmed)
- Rates: £28-£35 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert oncology pharmacy services to support patient care.
- Reviewing and assessing oncology prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Supporting chemotherapy dispensing, preparation, and delivery.
- Collaborating closely with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to optimise treatment plans.
- Contributing to clinical audits and supporting research and development within the oncology department.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in oncology pharmacy, including chemotherapy and oncology drug management.
- GPhC registration as a pharmacist.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment.
