The role

You will be out in the community managing a full range of casework, ensuring the Housing department's response to serious breaches of tenancy conditions and reports of high level anti-social behaviour is delivered within agreed timeframes.

The role will involve working closely with victims of anti-social behaviour to ensure the right support is in place whilst also working with perpetrators to make positive changes to help them sustain their tenancy.

You'll need to engage with internal and external legal teams on complex cases, preparing documentation and where needed representing the organisation at court

You'll provide our Housing Officers with advice, support and all the necessary tools and tactics to remedy cases with a key focus on prevention, intervention, and swift enforcement when necessary and only as a last resort.

The successful candidate

You have will experience of managing anti-social behaviour and breaches of tenancy. Have developed and maintained expert knowledge of ASB prevention and collaborated with key external partners through creating effective relationships, to resolve local housing related safety issues. You will need to flexible and able to commute around the district regularly so you must have access to a car to enable you visit victims and perpetrators in their homes where safe to do so.
