LTF Recruitment is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 child with ASD at a welcoming primary school in Leamington Spa.

In this role, will you:

  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher to support a child with ASD?
  • Use Team Teach strategies to manage behaviour effectively?

What qualifications and experience do you bring?

  • Do you have a Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification (or equivalent)?
  • Are you experienced in providing strong 1:1 support for children with SEN, particularly ASD and communication needs?
  • Do you know how to use PECS and Makaton to enhance communication?
  • Can you apply effective behaviour management techniques, including Team Teach?
  • Are you familiar with EHCPs and the UK Key Stage 2 curriculum?
  • Are you a team player who enjoys collaborating with other staff?
