Our client, is currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organisation into a new warehouse.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Making boxes for transition in the new warehouse
- Picking and packing orders accurately, ensuring they are ready for despatch.
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, using manual handling equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assisting with stock control, inventory management, and regular stock checks.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment. However, full training will be provided, so individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply. You must have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with colleagues and external partners on a daily basis. You should be able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently, and be adaptable to changing priorities.
