I'm proud to tell you we're partnering with a top 15 audit firm, with offices across the UK you'll based out of the office in Surrey, in the office 5 days a week for 6 months to support your training and development. Completing this you'll be working towards a hybrid approach of 3 days a week in the office.

You will be working across Audit, Accounts and Tax - predominantly focussed on Audit but if you're someone who enjoys every day to be different you'll thrive in this split. Your clients will range from OMBs to listed companies, throughout a range of sectors such as: companies, solicitors, charities and schools.

Your new responsibilities:

- Demonstrate a clear understanding of audit testing and approach when assisting the audit team

- Prepare a basic set of unincorporated or company accounts with reference to the relevant Financial Reporting Standards/Statement of Recommended Practice and legal requirements

- Draft basic corporation tax computations

- Provide support with drafting recommendations to management following audit fieldwork completion

- Attend client meetings in collaboration with the Manager / Partner

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of double entry/bookkeeping

- Sustains awareness of all relevant ISA requirements and internal policies in producing audit files.

- Accurately and efficiently process client accounting information using relevant software

Requirements from you:

We're looking for someone who has completed the certificate phase of their ACA or willing to convert from ACCA to ACA (with some completed exams already).

  • No sponsorship is offered for this position.
  • Previous UK based practice experience (top 50 preferred)
  • Experience working on clients sizes of £5m - £10m (T/O)
  • Experience working with Audit and Accounts (Essential)
