Description
- Prepare and file audited statutory accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Prepare and submit Corporation Tax returns for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Provide expert advice on changes to accounting standards under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and assess their implications.
- Evaluate and explain alternative accounting treatments, detailing their financial impact, benefits, and drawbacks.
- Manage the upload of internal tax submissions for the Group.
- Coordinate with external auditors for interim reviews and year-end audits.
- Draft technical accounting papers as required.
- Submit consolidated monthly financial reports, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Capital Expenditure summaries, to stakeholders within established deadlines.
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports and contribute to board and supplementary reports.
- Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests from the business and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts, including timely submission to stakeholders.
- Participate in various project initiatives as needed.
- Strengthen the control environment by improving internal processes and ensuring effective systems management.
- Provide day-to-day user support for financial systems, including troubleshooting and liaising with IT on system issues.
- Perform additional duties aligned with your expertise and the company's needs as required.

Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA), preferable ex practice.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate at all levels (both inside and outside of the organization)
- Able to coordinate contributions from a variety of sources required to deliver the statutory accounts
- Good knowledge of IFRS and UKGAAP and experience in preparation of statutory accounts.
