Our client, a leading, award-winning accountancy and tax practice renowned for its exceptional reputation, is seeking a Trust Accountant for their Trust & Wealth Services Department. As a Trust Accountant, you will prepare trust accounts and tax returns for UK and non-UK trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individuals, while administering these trusts and liaising with trustees and advisors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing trust accounts and tax returns for UK and non-UK trusts and estates
  • Administering trusts, including regular communication with trustees and other advisors
  • Preparing accounts and tax returns for trusts, charities, estates, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Calculating tax pool computations for offshore trusts
  • Administering trusts, charities, and estates

Requirements:

  • Experience in trust accounting and all aspects of trust taxation
  • Ability to delegate tasks and supervise junior staff effectively
  • Resilience under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent IT skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills across appropriate mediums
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage workflow and ensure timely delivery of client work
