Accounts Payable Clerk | Surrey | £30,000 per annum| Luxury Retailer | 2 month FTC (Fixed Term Contract)

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a world renown luxury retailer. You will be joining at an exciting time as they have created a new role due to the growth they have recently received. This is a hybrid role based in Surrey with the expectations of 3 days a week in office.

Details of the role:

Reporting to the AP Manager, you will be working in a team of 6 assisting with project work. There is free parking on site as well as good transport links. An opportunity for this role to be extended may be given to the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the Email inbox daily
  • Validate/invalidate ques received on Basware
  • Processing approximately 200 invoices weekly
  • Taking ownership of the onboarding process
  • Assisting supplier statement reconciliation
  • Assisting with payment runs on a weekly basis
  • Adhoc finance duties as required

Skills required:

The successful candidate will be available on 1 weeks’ with 1-2 years’ experience in AP. SAP experience is desirable but not essential. Softer skills required would include excellent communication skills.
