Business Development Manager

£70k-£80k Base Salary + OTE

Role Overview

A rapidly growing UK-wide MSP is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new business for the growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) specialising in Smart City solutions, including CCTV, access control, IoT, and networking technologies. As a key member of a focused team of three, you will be responsible for generating new public sector clients across government, healthcare, and educational sectors. This 100% new business role is remote, with travel to client sites as needed.

In this role, you will identify and engage potential clients, develop tailored proposals, and work closely with internal technical teams to deliver solutions that meet the unique needs of public sector organisations. Your primary goal will be to build new relationships, exceed new logo targets, and position our Smart City offerings as essential components for enhancing security, connectivity, and operational efficiency in urban environments.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding new business targets, ideally within technology, IoT, or managed services.
  • Demonstrated success in engaging with public sector clients and an ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of Smart City technologies, particularly CCTV, access control, IoT, and networking solutions.
