Business Development Executive

Based in Leatherhead

£28,000 - £34,000 salary

Minimum 2 days per week in the office, remainder at customer visits throughout the UK

Fuel allowance and use of Company pool car

Full time – 37 hours per week

They are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their vibrant Sales Team.

Job specification:

  • Drive company growth through new customer acquisition and market expansion.
  • Research and pursue new customers, markets, and partnerships.
  • Create and implement plans to capitalise on business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with key industry players, including building consultants, contractors, and installers.
  • Develop tailored proposals and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for technical support and timely quotations.
  • Maintain and update customer acquisition pipeline in CRM.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through ongoing support.
  • Attend industry events to network and stay informed on trends.

Person specification:

  • Must have a full driving license.
  • Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety obligations.
  • Effectively promote products/services during calls and site visits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and results driven.
  • Confident in presentations.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays if necessary.
