Our client is looking for a driven, ambitious and successful Website Business Development Manager to join their growing new business sales team to sell their market leading Digital Transformation solutions to C-level executives across the public sector.

The role will be fast-paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic, which will involve:

• Manage the entire Website sales cycle from start to finish (Cold call to close)

• Research companies and the industry to understand the relevant issues that are making companies uncertain about the decisions that they should be making, the challenges that they are facing, and the solutions that they need.

• Desire to learn and to be able to communicate the value proposition

• Presenting and demonstrating our solutions to C-level executives, building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, and negotiating complex agreements.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be a hungry and energetic sales professional looking to expand their sales career to the next level, joining a market leading company to offer an exciting career path. The successful candidates will have experience of selling complex software solutions and all the sales soft skills and intangibles to be a successful new name sales professional.

Essential criteria:

• 1-2+ years proven sales experience with evidence of delivering against sales targets

• Website or digital Agency commercial experience - highly preferable or SaaS/b2b software solution

• Public sectors experience preferable but not essential

• Enjoy working and taking pride in achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets whilst maintaining a positive attitude

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a desire to chase down deals

• Ability to carry out the entire sales cycle (cold call, demonstrations, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and close)

• Ability to work under pressure with a diligent and consistent work ethic

• An outgoing personality, determined attitude, good listening skills and a drive to be the best

• Must be PC literate, able to write professional business emails and compelling proposals

• Familiarity using CRM systems such as Salesforce. An understanding of selling to the public sector would be highly advantageous

• Role is based 4 days a week in the office - (Monday - Thursday).
