Our client is seeking an experienced Building / Project Surveyor to join their team and play a key role in managing and delivering building and property projects from inception to completion. This includes conducting building surveys, preparing technical reports, managing refurbishments, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and client specifications.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed building surveys, inspections, and assessments of properties.
  • Prepare condition, dilapidation, and feasibility reports.
  • Manage and oversee building refurbishment, maintenance, and construction projects.
  • Prepare specifications, tender documentation, and contract administration duties (NBS Prelims, NBS,Materials and Workmanship, scope of works etc.).
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Advise on property and construction matters, including legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve defects and maintenance issues.
  • Ensure health and safety, sustainability, and quality control measures are in place and adhered to.
  • Support the development of asset management strategies and long-term property planning.
  • Stock and condition surveys reports.
  • Technical due diligence surveys and reports.
  • Price dilapidations and CPR35 compliant reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of building regulations, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience with project management and delivery of building works.
  • Experience in diagnosing housing disrepair and building defects.
  • Ability to produce high-quality written reports in a timely and efficient manner and in line with CPR35.
