The Building Surveyor Role

As a Building Surveyor, you will deliver a comprehensive range of building surveying services across both private and public sector projects. These include refurbishments and retrofit schemes, ensuring a varied and rewarding workload.

Working collaboratively within a diverse team, you will manage projects from inception to completion, oversee contract administration, and deliver first-class services to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the full suite of building surveying services for private and public sector clients.
  • Managing projects such as refurbishments and retrofit schemes from inception to completion.
  • Carrying out contract administration and project management tasks.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure project success.


The Ideal Building Surveyor will have

  • Qualifications: A RICS-accredited degree (essential); MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience: A background in construction consultancy, with public sector experience advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong project management, contract administration, and written communication abilities.
  • Requirements: A UK driving license.
