£50,000 - £65,000 | Surrey - hybrid working

We have been mandated by one of our clients to find a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for project managing the strategic development of a major site. Essentially, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who understands public sector estates planning, ideally within health or life sciences.

This Senior Project Manager role is a new investment role and is likely to suit a candidate who has demonstrable Project Management experience coupled with Architecture background and Estates development. Please note this is a hybrid working role and you can expect to be onsite 3 days per week.

The successful candidate will

As Senior Project Manager you’ll be working to support the strategic development and management of the client’s life sciences site. You can expect your responsibilities to include:

  • Project management of estate planning and management projects within health and life sciences.
  • Technical Board management and reporting.
  • Management of business processes for the planning function, including Estate Development Control Plans.
  • Assisting the client in developing robust information in support of project delivery and implementation, and act as the main point of contact for the end client in relation to these projects.

Our client is looking for

  • Significant experience with Public Sector Estates and the delivery of Estate Planning projects.
  • An architecture background and experience.
  • Experience of health or life science related estates would be highly advantageous.
  • Well-developed communication skills and stakeholder management, strong relationships with technical partners and sector specialists and experts.
  • Experience of delivering to industry best practice, including RIBA Plan of Work, OGC Gateways, NHS Capital Investment Manual.
  • A data-driven analytical approach to inform strategic decision making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or in the construction industry/sector.
  • Chartered status (ARB/RIBA, RICS, CIAT, CIBSE).
  • Project Management qualification (such as PRINCE2 or APM).
