We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Agent to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers in the housing and construction sector ensuring their needs are met and their inquiries are resolved efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to analyze customer feedback to enhance service delivery.

Duties

  • Obtain client information by answering telephone calls and verifying information
  • Resolve customer problems
  • Take notes of conversations and record on the internal company IT System
  • Allocate and monitor resources and ensure PDA usage and ensure achievement of client specific targets.
  • Provide an effective interface with customers
  • Provide residents with information and support at all stages of service, repairs, install and electrical works
  • Maintain a central filing system as directed by the Customer Service Manager
  • Liaise daily with Field Operation Technicians and Field Operation Managers, where required, to ensure individual needs and requests are dealt with.
  • Ensure all company procedures, policies and codes of conduct are complied with any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Customer Service Manager or Head of Administration.

Health and safety responsibility includes:

  • Work safely and well, and to regard your own health and safety and the safety and well-being of others who may be affected by your actions as a primary consideration;
  • Comply with the company's Groups Health and Safety Policy and observe all health and safety policy
  • Report any accidents/incidents, or unsafe situations to your supervisor or line manager.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English is essential
  • NVQ in customer service and Business is desirable
  • GSCE is essential
  • Strong analytical skills to assess customer feedback and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
  • Experience in data entry with attention to detail is required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
