Data Centre Technician | 12 month contract to permanent | Surrey | HP, Dell, IBM server experience:
We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Technician to join a Tech Consultancy where you'll be part of a team responsible for support across a complex Data Centre for a leading business within the banking space.
- Role: Data Centre Technician/ Engineer Technician
- Duration: 12 months (contract to permanent role)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Full time on-site in Surrey
- Shift Pattern on rota: Early - 07:00 to 14:30, Late - 14:30 to 22:00, Week night - 22:00 - 07:00, Weekend day - 07:00 - 19:00, Weekend night - 19:00 - 07:00
- Circa 24 per hour Umbrella with competitive permanent salary at the end.
Requirements/Experience:
- Dell, HP and IBM Server experience is essential.
- Dell and HP accreditation's.
- Support and mentor trainee DC Engineers when required.
- Break/Fix support for the Data Centre.
- Troubleshooting and hardware replacement.
- Installation and decommissioning experience.
- Server provisioning, Rack & Stack, and server configuration.
- Show best practices in line with SLAs
