Housekeeper

House-Keeper Position:

General: A Housekeeper is required to join a private estate near Windsor Park in Surrey which is generally only occupied during the summer months. You will be joining a small team where you will work under the direction of an experienced House Coordinator to deliver a 6* housekeeping service maintaining the estates buildings.

Duties:

• Work under the direction of our House Coordinator to deliver a housekeeping and cleaning service to maintain both the internals and externals of the house and its out buildings to ensure the standard of cleanliness is adhered to at all times
• Work with the HC to ensure that you keep an accurate stock of all house-keeping consumables and equipment as well as linens. Advising the HC if items need ordering or replacing.
• Under the direction of the HC ensure all cleaning programs and house-keeping maintenance is carried out as needed and done to the standard required.
• Ensure all soft furnishing are maintained and placed it the correct positions.
• You will be required to maintain both the front of house and back of house along with all linens, crockery, cutlery, service items and equipment as well as soft furnishings.
• Provide a valet service if required
• You may be required to carry out light Laundry duties if requested.
• Assist the Estate team ensuring all outbuildings / storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Monitor contractors while onsite to ensure that works and maintenance is carried out correctly and to the standard required.
• You may be required to provide support and assistance to the other departments including the external grounds team throughout the year.
• Report any issues found with the house and or its equipment so that faults and issues can be dealt with in a timely manner.
• Always ensure you report to work on time, and turned out tidily in the uniform provided for you by the Estate

Requirements:

• Good Command of both spoken and written English
• Have a minimum of 2 years hands-on housekeeping experience either in a 5* hotel environment or within a HNW private home environment
• Live within 40 minutes of the work location
• Have a good and positive history of working as part of a team
• A car and full and clean driver's license would be an advantage
• Service experience an advantage

Package

• Salary- 30,000 - 32,000 gross per annum dependant on experience
• Working Hours : 8am to 4pm
• Working Days - 5 days per week with 2 consecutive days off. This role will require some weekend work.
