In this role, you'll be at the heart of our nursery, engaging with children daily to foster their growth and development in a safe and supportive setting. What you'll do:

  • Engage with children: Create a warm, nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe and valued.
  • Implement routines: Develop and follow daily schedules and educational programmes that support child development.
  • Monitor progress: Observe and support each child's development, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Maintain the environment: Keep the nursery clean, safe, and inviting for children.
  • Team collaboration: Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to continually improve your skills and knowledge.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualifications: Relevant childcare qualifications are required for qualified positions.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Passion: A genuine love for working with children and providing high-quality care.
  • Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Team player: Ability to work well within a team and maintain a professional attitude.
