Tradewind is proud to partner with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" primary school in Surrey, currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support KS1 and KS2 students.
This two-form entry mainstream primary school is committed to supporting children with a range of abilities, including those with communication and interaction challenges and cognitive difficulties.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with pupils with ASD and relevant classroom experience.
Responsibilities include:- Providing 1:1 support for an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2.
- Planning and delivering intervention sessions for SEN groups.
- Promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Implementing targets from pupils' EHCPs.
- Monitoring and recording pupils' progress effectively.
- Proven experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
- Strong understanding of supporting children with autism.
- A valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references.
- A CV detailing the last 10 years of employment (with explanations for any gaps).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
