Tradewind is proud to partner with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" primary school in Surrey, currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support KS1 and KS2 students.

This two-form entry mainstream primary school is committed to supporting children with a range of abilities, including those with communication and interaction challenges and cognitive difficulties.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with pupils with ASD and relevant classroom experience.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing 1:1 support for an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2.
  • Planning and delivering intervention sessions for SEN groups.
  • Promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Implementing targets from pupils' EHCPs.
  • Monitoring and recording pupils' progress effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong understanding of supporting children with autism.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references.
  • A CV detailing the last 10 years of employment (with explanations for any gaps).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
