We are delighted to be recruiting for a Residential Management Co-ordinator to join a busy Housing Service team at a local authority. This vital role supports the delivery of high-quality temporary accommodation and affordable housing, ensuring that tenants live in safe, well-maintained homes while providing excellent oversight of managing agents and ensuring contract compliance.
You will play a key role in managing relationships, monitoring financials, ensuring compliance, and supporting service improvements - directly contributing to the council's commitment to excellent landlord services.
Initially this role will be Full-time based at our clients office (approx. 4 weeks). 聽Following satisfactory performance, hybrid working arrangement of up to 2 days working from home can be discussed.

Key Responsibilities
路Act as the first point of contact for the managing agent for day-to-day issues and contract management.
路Monitor and oversee contractor performance and compliance with service standards.
路Maintain accurate property records, including compliance documents and stock condition reports.
路Coordinate financial administration, including setting and reviewing rents and service charges, processing invoices, and supporting budget management.
路Lead the collation and submission of statutory data to the Regulator of Social Housing and the Housing Ombudsman Service.
路Support mobilisation of newly acquired stock and ensure effective handovers with the managing agent.
路Oversee tenant liaison activities and assist in responding to complaints and queries.
路Ensure strong record keeping, compliance monitoring, and customer-focused service delivery.
路Support continuous service improvements to maximise value for money and tenant satisfaction.
About You
路Significant experience in residential property management, ideally in the social housing sector.
路Proven background in managing contracts and service level agreements.
路Good knowledge of landlord and property management legal responsibilities, health and safety, and compliance standards.
路Strong financial administration skills including rent setting, monitoring service charges, and budget control.
路Highly organised, with excellent record keeping, communication, and problem-solving skills.
路Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
路Ability to work independently, prioritise a busy workload, and build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
路A current UK driving licence is essential.
