Customer Service Officer – Blue Badge TeamLocation: South East EnglandSalary: CompetitiveMyn is recruiting for a long-term client in the South East of England, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Officer to join the Blue Badge team. If you have a passion for helping others and enjoy providing top-notch customer service, this role is for you!The Role:You will be at the forefront of processing Blue Badge (disabled parking) applications, reviewing them against national guidelines, and making decisions on whether to issue or refuse applications. You’ll also be responsible for handling customer enquiries, both by phone and online, ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous service.Key Responsibilities:Blue Badge Application Processing:Review and assess applications according to Department for Transport guidelines. Make decisions to issue or refuse Blue Badges.Customer Service:Provide excellent customer support by phone, email, and digital platforms, responding to enquiries about the Blue Badge scheme.Data Management & Reporting:Maintain accurate records and assist in preparing reports for statistical and other purposes.Administrative Support:Prepare and dispatch standard correspondence to ensure efficient response to enquiries and application processing.What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and database applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles.
