Fares & Ticketing ExecutiveThis leading specialist tour operator are looking for a Fares & Ticketing Executive to join their team. In this role you will be supporting with everything related to flights, including ticketing, documentation and ensuring best fares are sourced for all bookings. Salary of £30k, hybrid working and a range of fantastic company benefits.

Fares & Ticketing Executive - Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible as part of a team for sourcing & purchasing airline tickets
  • Issuing automated EMD's to pay for add ons such as seat reservations etc
  • Advise fares (nett and published) to sales & operations teams
  • Apply fare rules in line with contracts
  • Processing of automated tickets through BSP or Amadeus
  • Checking of BSP link and dealing with any ADMs / ACM's
  • Support with securing seats & rates for ad-hoc tours and all allocations
  • Regularly review reservations system to ensure all ticketing information is correct.
  • Ensure all flight information on customer documentation is accurate and current
  • Action of Amadeus queues
  • Assist with loading and maintaining contracts in reservations system
  • Be on call on a rota basis to assist with out of hours flight emergencies

Fares & Ticketing Executive - Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with a GDS, preferably Amadeus.
  • Experience of working in a fares & ticketing / air operations role for a tour operator, OTA, airline etc
  • Experience of creating PNR’s with multiple passenger types.
  • Knowledge of net, CAT35 and published / corporate fares
  • Experience of adding & ticketing EMD’s with excellent understanding of fare rules & airlines policies, reissues & refunds.
  • Fares and Ticketing qualification would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills are essential
  • Ability to handle cancellations, schedule changes, flight disruption and provide alternatives when necessary
  • Strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English

Fares & Ticketing Executive - Additional Information:

  • Salary circa £30k
  • Hybrid - 2 days office based
  • Monday to Friday 9 to 5, with some out of hours phone cover on a rota basis for flight emergencies.
