Silver & Bow is looking for a Housekeeper to join a small team at a prestigious private estate near Windsor Park, Surrey. The estate is typically occupied during the summer months, and this position offers the chance to work under the direction of an experienced House Coordinator to deliver exceptional 6* housekeeping services across the estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping & Cleaning Services: Work alongside the House Coordinator (HC) to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the main house and outbuildings, ensuring both the interiors and exteriors are impeccably maintained.

Inventory Management: Assist the HC in keeping an accurate stock of housekeeping consumables, equipment, and linens. Notify the HC when items need to be ordered or replaced.

Maintenance & Care: Follow cleaning schedules and housekeeping programs as directed to maintain high standards across the property. Ensure soft furnishings are maintained and placed correctly throughout the estate.

General House Duties: Maintain the appearance of both front and back-of-house areas, as well as linens, crockery, cutlery, service items, and equipment. Provide valet services and light laundry duties as required. Assist the estate team in ensuring outbuildings and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.

Contractor Oversight: Monitor contractors working on-site, ensuring they complete maintenance to the required standards.

Support to Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments, including the grounds team, to provide assistance throughout the year.

Reporting: Report any faults or issues with the house or its equipment to ensure timely resolution.

Professionalism & Conduct: Always arrive punctually and maintain a tidy appearance in the uniform provided by the estate.

Essential Requirements:

Strong command of both spoken and written English.

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on housekeeping experience in a 5* hotel or private UHNW home environment.

Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive, cooperative attitude.

Live within a 40-minute commute to the estate.

A car and clean driver’s license (advantageous).

Previous service experience (advantageous).

Additional Information:

Flexibility is required during the summer months and when the client is in residence, with potential overtime and variations in days off.

Working Hours: 8am to 4pm Working Days: 5 days per week (with 2 consecutive days off, typically Friday/Saturday or two weekdays)

Annual Leave: 28 days per year (no entitlement to public holidays)
