Paediatric Neurodisability Consultant

We are seeking a Paediatric Neurodisability Consultant to join our esteemed medical team at a leading charity for children with brain injury. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a centre renowned for its care of children and young people with brain injuries and complex Neurodisability. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, eager to support and enhance a high-performing team in an environment that is committed to the highest clinical and quality standards.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide expert care and support to children and young people with brain injuries and complex neurodisability.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored treatment plans.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities and contribute to the charity’s research initiatives.
  • Support the Medical Director and contribute to the strategic development of the medical department.
  • Ensure the delivery of outstanding care in line with the standards set by the Care Quality Commission.
  • Utilise state-of-the-art facilities, including robotic technology and virtual reality, to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Recognised medical qualification with a specialisation in paediatric neurodisability or a related field.
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for making a significant and lasting difference in the lives of children and families.
