Your new companyAn organisation based in Surrey is recruiting for a Payroll Transformation Manager to support their finance function. This is a fixed-term opportunity, with hybrid working (2 days/week in the office). The organisation are based in beautiful offices, with a modern and calm feel to them. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who's successfully completed multiple payroll projects and is looking for their next opportunity.Your new roleThis role is reporting into the finance team where the successful candidate will lead the payroll element of a new integrated HR/Payroll System project. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with HR, the system provider, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Ensure the system meets Payroll Department needs and exceeds current performance.
  • Create detailed requirements to minimise implementation risk and improve processes.
  • Ensure the new system meets detailed payroll requirements.
  • Test the new system and provide comprehensive training and support, including parallel runs and UAT testing
  • Leading the data migration and cleansing from a payroll perspective

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed, you'll need experience with integrated HR & Payroll systems, systems implementation projects, and payroll team management. Strong project management and an advanced Excel skillset are essential and knowledge of payroll functions and tax/employment law would be advantageous for the role.What you'll get in return
