We are seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to join a leading manufacturing company in Leatherhead. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is skilled in coordinating sales, pricing, and logistics to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Confirm price, specification, and delivery for each sales enquiry.
  • Complete price breakdowns for each enquiry.
  • Reserve machines as per the sales requirements.
  • Order machines and ancillaries, ensuring timely procurement.
  • Review machine order confirmations to verify accuracy.
  • Ensure relevant departments confirm specifications of orders.
  • Review Verbal Order Sheets for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare documentation for handover meetings to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Regularly update prices and inform Sales of new promotions and models.
  • Update the machine delivery schedule to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Provide Movement Instructions for each machine move to ensure logistical efficiency.
  • Update and maintain the machine database for operational integrity.
  • Address and resolve issues related to suppliers, deliveries, etc.
  • Attend Sales and Engineering Meetings as required to align on company objectives.
  • Compile and respond to customer RFQs (Request for Quotations) effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a commercial or sales coordination role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in database management and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving aptitude.
