Our client is a well-established food supplements organization based in the Surrey area. They are actively seeking to recruit an experienced QA/Regulatory Affairs professional with several years of experience, ideally within the food sector.

Key Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in food science or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a quality environment, specifically within ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain regulatory documents for submission to regulatory authorities, including the collection, review, manufacturing, and other supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with EU regulatory authorities and regulatory counterparts.
  • Monitor legislation related to the manufacture, labeling, transport, and supply of products to ensure compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with current food legislation and upcoming regulatory developments.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey technical concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Good numeric skills and computer literacy.
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients on technical matters.
