Salary:  circa £45,000 per annum

Reports to: Director of Fundraising

Aquilas are pleased to be partnering with a social welfare charity to help them recruit for a Fundraising Manager. 

About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Executive and as member of our senior team, you will be involved in organisational leadership and development, and influence the future structure of the fundraising function as it grows and develops. This is a newly created role is responsible for the development of a fundraising strategy and diversifying the funding through trusts and foundations, corporate and community partnerships.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Raise funds through trusts and foundations and other activities
  • Increase awareness of the charity
  • Identify and develop new corporate partnerships and community partnerships

About you

 

  • Proven experience in fundraising
  • Success in leading funding bids to grant-making trusts and foundations
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate partnerships
