Fundraising Manager

Location:  West Sussex, (Hybrid or Remote)

Salary:  circa £40,000 - 45,000 per annum

Reports to: Chief Executive

Term: Permanent

Aquilas are delighted to be supporting a wonderful national youth charity that is dedicated to social justice and diversity in their search for a new Fundraising Manager to join the charity’s small but mighty team.

About the role:

The Fundraising Manager will be a member of the senior team, implementing the fundraising strategy and working closely with the CEO to strengthen their existing portfolio of Trust and Corporate donors with a particular focus on building new investment from corporate and major donors.

Key responsibilities

  1. Fundraising Strategy Implementation:

    • Collaborate with the CEO to implement and refine fundraising strategies.
    • Focus on expanding funding from corporate and high-value donors.
  2. Donor Relationship Management:

    • Build meaningful, personalized partnerships with corporate funders aligned with workplace inclusivity goals.
    • Develop relationships with philanthropic donors passionate about social justice.
    • Manage and enhance trust and corporate donor portfolios.
  3. Programme Oversight:

    • Lead and grow the annual London Marathon runner programme with team support.
    • Design and introduce high-value fundraising initiatives.
  4. Stewardship and Reporting:

    • Commit to excellent stewardship practices.
    • Ensure impactful reporting to sustain long-term funding relationships.

About you       

This role is ideal for an experienced fundraiser with strong relationship building skills that is passionate about advancing inclusivity and social justice through strategic fundraising and impactful donor engagement. Ideally you will have a  track record in donor relations, especially with corporate or high-value donors.
