  • Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time to Full-Time (minimum 4 days a week)

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Economics Teacher to join our team from the academic year 25/26. This role involves teaching A-level Economics and contributing to our enrichment programs. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and dynamic environment, with opportunities for professional development.

Day-to-day of the role of an Economics Teacher:
  • Deliver high-quality A-level Economics lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials and resources, tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support students in achieving their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
  • Participate in and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Required Skills & Qualifications required for the Economics Teacher post:
  • A degree in Economics or a related subject.
  • An appropriate teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to teach Economics at A-level.
  • Strong understanding of effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Very good organisational ability.
