Our client are looking for an HR Manager to join their team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday for the next 6 months.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager with expertise across all areas of people management including ER, recruitment and L&D. You will play a pivotal role within the organisation, responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle for our 150+ employees. You will play a key role in driving HR initiatives that align with our business objectives and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including TUPE regulations (recent acquisition experience highly desirable).
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process.
  • Develop and deliver an engaging onboarding program.
  • Identify training needs and develop, deliver and manage training programs including existing Learning & Development initiatives, external training courses and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage all aspects of HR administration, including payroll, benefits, and employee records.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data and maintain employee files in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Manage the company's HRIS system and ensure data integrity.
  • Management of probationary periods and appraisals.
  • Complete various reporting tasks including Bradford Score analysis, Absence, Starters and Leavers Reporting.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities.
  • Conduct regular employee surveys to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Advise management on HR best practices and emerging trends.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or a similar senior HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, including TUPE regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organisation and time-management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team - A collaborative and supportive team player.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • A passion for creating a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (desirable).
  • CIPD qualified (desirable).
