We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to join our values client on a 12-month contract at their Leatherhead office in Surrey. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting key processes across the employee life cycle. There is potential for the successful candidate to transition into a permanent position after the contract period.
Role Overview
As the HR Operations Coordinator, you will deliver exceptional customer service while managing day-to-day HR processes. Key responsibilities include onboarding, contract creation, employee record management, job changes, offboarding, and reporting. Your commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency will ensure smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality HR service with excellent customer support and query resolution.
- Manage core administrative tasks, including employment correspondence throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Maintain and update employee records in Workday, ensuring 100% data accuracy, particularly for payroll processing.
- Oversee onboarding processes: draft offers of employment, gather references and security documents, and prepare induction packs.
- Process job changes, absences, and leavers in line with service level agreements.
- Administer company benefit schemes in collaboration with the Benefits Advisor, including holiday sale/purchase processes.
- Manage the probationary process and associated documentation.
- Respond to and manage employee queries through the PARC inbox, escalating as required.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, GDPR, and security clearance processes.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks independently.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database management.
- Customer service mindset and strong relationship management skills.
Desirable:
- HR qualifications or experience in an HR Operations role.
- Familiarity with Workday or other HR systems.
- Knowledge of UK employment law, compliance, and GDPR.
- Understanding of security clearance processes.
