Client Details

My client is a district council undertaking a significant transformation programme. They require an interim with project support/PMO skills to support them for an initial 6 months.

Description

The successful Project Support/PMO will:

  • Engage with internal programme team to ensure deliverables are tracked and progress is reported effectively to relevant stakeholders
  • Engage with external stakeholders (e.g. parish councils) across the region to support the delivery of programme outcomes
  • Own delivery of certain workstream objectives, liaising closely with Project Managers
  • Facilitate meetings, chairing where necessary

Profile

The successful Project Support/PMO will possess:

  • Previous experience in a project support or PMO role within local government (essential)
  • Experience of supporting the delivery of transformation (non-IT) programmes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Flexible skill set and willingness to deploy different skills depending on the needs of the programme
  • Ability and willingness to be on-site at least once per week

Job Offer
