About the Role
Our client is seeking a Design Director to lead the creative vision and execution of all products and experiences. In this role, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for guiding design teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and overseeing the entire design process, from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the design team to produce innovative and high-quality work.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies.
- Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to understand project needs and develop strategic plans.
- Translate business objectives and briefs into compelling creative concepts.
- Develop and implement design strategies with clear timelines and budgets.
- Create storyboards and mock-ups to visualize project outcomes for stakeholders.
- Oversee creative projects from inception
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior design or creative role.
- A portfolio of design projects demonstrating skills; ideally working with corporate or professional services companies.
- Experience working with Adobe software.
- A creative eye and an interest in all things artistic and creative.
- A keen interest in following industry trends.
- A flair for technical subjects.
- The ability to juggle several projects at the same time and work to strict deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Confident team player with leadership skills.
- Ability to present ideas to senior stakeholders and potential investors.
Pay range and compensation package - Basic salary of up to £85,000 pa. Excellent Benefits including free on-site Gym and Bistro. This role is primarily Office based so applicants to apply only if they can commute to Surrey on a daily basis.
