Initial 3-6 month contract - Temp to Perm

This is a key role within one of our clients Plant, Fleet & Logistics Department, and you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation within your specific region. Using information provided by the team, you will plan and manage the team's workload ensuring efficient and effective use of the time available, this role is based in East Grinstead.

  • Monitor and report on compliance within the region.
  • Plan, prepare, control available resource to the correct department
  • Plan new driver inductions, equipment, and vehicle issue
  • Engage with Logistics team to support administration & e-mail traffic
  • Control all vehicle issues & returns, recording all data within Fleet Management System.
  • Manage all vehicle defects, minimize VOR Downtime and ensure reporting system is updated.
  • Ensuring all Assets & Vehicles are kept in a safe and legal condition to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Monitor performance in line with company procedures, policies, and rules, and to challenge any non-conformity where necessary.
  • Ensure that our assets and equipment are maintained and tracked across the business, conducting safety inspections and auditing equipment.
  • Liaise with other Regions, Departments and functions and encourage a One Team approach.
  • Take on new assignments when required
