Original Talent Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a well established, multimodal freight forwarder who are based in the heart of Surrey.

They are looking for someone to join the team who has experience in a similar role, working for a direct Freight Forwarder across Air, Road or Sea.You must have knowledge of freight processes, quotations and customs clearances

Duties to include:

Manage the import and export process from start through to completion
Provide quotes to customers and then follow up
Liaise with third parties including airlines, carriers, shippers and hauliers on a global scale
Manage delays on shipments and try to minimise the risk of further delays
Effectively look at the shipping routes, carrier and hauliers to obtain the most cost effective solution, bearing in mind time scales
Collate all relevant documents to process clearances

Ideally you will:

Have experience in a similar role
Have experience with customs clearance
Have experience across Air, Road or Sea Freight
Be a strong team player during busy periods
Be able to cope with a busy workload
