Commercial Legal Underwriters

Open to candidates based in London, Manchester, and Birmingham

We are exclusively working with a market-leading legal insurance provider on the following 2 mandates:

  • Legal Underwriter with a focus on Commercial Litigation matters
  • Legal Underwriter with a focus on Commercial Litigation and Business Development

You would be joining a flourishing business, in the midst of expanding into new jurisdictions. The firm boasts a friendly and collegiate working environment where the work is done without burning the candle at both ends!

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Analysing and assessing the merits of Commercial/Non-Injury cases
  • Visiting and auditing clients, ensuring they are acting correctly on their matters
  • Mentoring junior team members whilst working on cases
  • Building and developing new and existing client relationships

This role is perfect for an England and Wales Qualified Lawyer from a Commercial Litigation background, looking to apply their knowledge and experience outside of Private Practice (and also move away from billable hours targets!).

The client is flexible on PQE as long as you demonstrate the desired experience.
