We are currently partnering with a Local Government, who are recruiting for a Principal Property Solicitor to join their growing team on a temporary basis of 6-months with the opportunity to go permanent.
This is a part-time position (26-hours) with a start date of the 24th of February.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a varied caseload of complex commercial property matters with a particular focus on development, regeneration and property transactions
- Assisting the team with overflow work on right to buys
- Advising on trust and charity landwork
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, transfers and leases
- Advising clients on governance
- Providing advice to internal and external stakeholders
Experience required:
- Must be a qualified Solicitor/Barrister/CILEX
- Experience required in a Local Government Setting
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Experience with IKEN
